At Quality Connections, we strive to enrich lives through engaging recreational and social activities that foster connection, confidence, and personal growth. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where every individual feels welcomed, supported, and valued.
We proudly serve neurodivergent adults and individuals with special needs who are 18 years and older, offering a safe and structured space designed to promote meaningful participation, independence, and a strong sense of belonging.
A tailored plan developed in collaboration with the participant, their caregivers, and program staff. It outlines the participant’s goals, preferences, support needs, and desired activities within the day program. The plan is reviewed regularly to ensure it reflects the participant’s evolving interests, abilities, and choices, while promoting independence, inclusion, and overall well-being.
Life Skills Training provides participants with practical, hands-on learning opportunities to develop essential skills for daily living. Areas of focus may include personal care, cooking, money management, communication, social interaction, community participation, and problem-solving. The goal is to promote independence, confidence, and self-advocacy, while supporting participants in applying these skills in real-life settings.
Community outings provide participants with opportunities to engage in meaningful experiences outside the program setting. These outings may include recreational, educational, cultural, or volunteer activities that encourage social interaction, community inclusion, and skill development. The goal is to foster independence, build confidence, and promote active participation within the broader community.
Every participant receives an individualized support plan tailored to their abilities, interests, and goals. We offer varying support ratios (1:1, 2:1, 3:1, or group support) to ensure comfort, safety, and meaningful participation.
We explore local community spaces such as parks, malls, libraries, movie theatres, swimming pools, and bowling alleys—helping participants build social awareness and community confidence.
Light exercise, stretching, outdoor walks (weather permitting), and wellness-focused activities are incorporated into our routine to support physical and mental wellbeing.
Our program includes dedicated rooms for arts and crafts, sensory play, quiet time, group learning, fitness, and more. Each space is designed to support focus, comfort, and individualized experience
We offer a wide range of daily activities including arts and crafts, music, sensory exploration, board games, and learning workshops that encourage creativity, confidence, and skill development.
We support individuals who are verbal, non-verbal, or use assistive communication devices. Our team encourages self-expression and meaningful interactions in every activity. A communication book travels home daily to keep parents and caregivers updated on activities, progress, and important notes.
Our team is highly trained with First Aid, CPR, NVCI, and years of direct support experience. We foster an inclusive, respectful, and participant-led environment where every individual is valued.
A calming, multi-sensory environment created to promote relaxation, reduce anxiety, and support sensory regulation through soft lighting, soothing sounds, and tactile experiences.
A fun, interactive space where participants can enjoy games, puzzles, and recreational activities that build social skills, teamwork, and problem-solving.
Extended hours and weekend options may be available for families who require additional support and flexibility.
We provide light breakfast and snacks throughout the day.
Participants are required to bring their own lunch from home. Our staff assist with heating food, feeding support, and mealtime safety as needed.
Participants enjoy bi-weekly cooking or baking sessions that help build independence, teamwork, and everyday life skills.
